IPhone or IPad must be IOS 11 or higher using latest Safari. Supported Browsers
The device must have a camera
The device must have a microphone

ID Verification

During online notarization, if you are not personally known to the notary, the notary must have you and all signers go through ID Verification as required by Texas state law.
Texas state law requires that you answer 5 questions that only you know the answers to. You must answer 4 or more questions correctly within 2 minutes. You will be given a second chance to answer questions again if you answered incorrectly; however, if you fail it a second time the notary is not allowed to continue or perform the online notarization either for a specific time period or permanently.
